    MAT is the data controller that collects, uses, discloses and/or transfers your personal data overseas. MAT is a juristic person which is established under the laws of Thailand with its head office located at 19/4 Moo 14 King Kaew Road, Rachatewa, Bang-phli, Samutprakarn 10540
    MAT is one of the Mitsui Group companies and has been appointed as the official distributor of Hino trucks which is standardized service center and have a team of professional technicians, fast service. The objective of the business is to distribute trucks and truck parts including after sales service such as truck maintenance, providing special benefits and other services related to the benefit and satisfaction of the customers and the general public.

  3. What is personal data?
    “Personal Data” means information about an individual that enables the identification of that person directly or indirectly but does not include an information of the deceased.
  4. What personal data is collected?
    4.1 The personal data collected depends on relationship, service or product you prefer. Personal data that we may collect, use, disclose and/or transfer to aboard will be included but not limit as following data.
    (a) Personal details such as title, name, last name, gender, age, occupation, job title, work place, education, nationality, date of birth, marital status. Information on government-issued cards (for example identity card, passport number, number of Taxpayer Identification, Driving license etc.), signature, audio/telephone conversations/ photographs/CCTV recordings, house registration and other identity information.
    (b) Contact details such as address, telephone/fax number, location, email address, LINE ID, Facebook account, Instagram ID and other IDs from social media.
    (c) Truck details such as vehicle number, license plate number, car model, year, color, engine/chassis number, mileage, battery, voltage, fuel level, brake wear. Location and movement information (e.g. time, location, speed). Insurance details, car accessories/ Connected Service accessories (e.g. transceiver, SIM card), registration book, vehicle inspection documents. Detailed information obtained using Connected Services, GPS data and vehicle location. Vehicle history reports and other relevant information.
    (d) Financial details such as credit and debit card information, account number and Prompt Pay information, current assets, income/expenses and other financial information.
    (e) Transaction details such as payment details method, amount, date and/or time of payment, details about reimbursement, registration, interest, down payment, installment/number of installments, date/place of purchase of product or service. Address/date and time of delivery, service request form, purchase order form, recipient’s signature Receipts, invoices, transactions, transaction history, transaction status and other details of service or product that you purchase.
    (f) Marketing and communication details such as your choice of receiving information from affiliate marketing and your communication choices.
    (g) Target customer details such as target customer code, current truck and truck color, test drive data. Truck purchasing plan and truck model that you are interested, record tracking information (such as truck service center visit information, vehicle reservation information). Sources (for example someone suggested to visit service center, visit Motor show, from current customers suggestion, from social media), the reasons for unable to close the sale, your interests in MAT activities.
    (h) User history, such as Connected Services account, login name or application username, history of using our services and products, photos, contact history, complaint history, customer demand, feedback and responses to the satisfaction questionnaire.
    (I) Technical details such as IP address, browser type and version, searching behavior and patterns, cookies, model and type of device, duration and place of access.
    4.2 If you provide someone personal information such as first name, last name, address and telephone number for emergency contact or family members who can use your car. You have to ensure that you have the authority to do so and that we are authorized to use their personal data in a lawful manner in accordance with this policy. Please provide this policy to those individuals for their acknowledgment and/or consent. (or use other legal provisions as an exception to consent) and send such information to us in accordance with this Policy.
    4.3 We will not use sensitive types of personal data such as race, ethnicity, political opinions, ideology, religion or philosophy, sexual behavior, criminal records, health information, disability, trade union information, genetic data, biological data, etc., except for permitted by law or with your explicit consent.
    You must ensure that all personal data provided is complete, accurate and true.
  5. How to receive and correct personal data
    We may receive and collect your personal information in the following ways :
    (a) Personal data you provide to us : personal data that you provide to us directly, there will be when you want to inquire, fill out online form or paperwork, subscription or register to receive an information on products, services or benefits from us or when you comment back to us.

  6. Purpose and legal base of collecting, using and disclosing personal data
    6.1 Purposes of collecting, using and disclosing personal data for the following (collectively referred to as “objective”)
    (a) For the provision of products and services : for management, contracting and performance of any contract or obligation with you or the organization you represent for example test drive reservation, truck delivery, comply with the product purchase agreement, payment related services which is included of verification, confirmation and cancellation of transactions. Product warranties, negotiations, insurance and other services related to insurance. Registration of truck-related services and other services, after sales service packages such as maintenance and booking of truck repairs, to specify the location of your truck, provide Connected Service such as navigator system, emergency service, facilitation and troubleshooting, service center appointment and check the repair history and truck information.     (b) Registration and identity verification: To check and verify your identity when registering and receiving services from us.
    (c) To improve business operations, products and services : for assessment, analysis, management, improvement, conducting research, planning, surveying and statistical analysis. To develop the system, quality and safety of our products and services such as product satisfaction, product sales or after sales service satisfaction for assessing the effectiveness of our digital media products and marketing campaigns, patterns and trends in consumption, behavior and repairing services, etc. including information about fondness and your satisfaction with our products or services to identify the problems and solutions or for employee training and evaluation to improve business, products and services.
    (d) To manage the relationship : communicate about products and services that you receive from us or affiliated companies, partner companies to notify you including reminders of renewal of vehicle registration or insurance. Set up a service date to update your information and to provide information about your truck. Prepare travel reports and check status and truck information to maintain customer relationships. Facilitate the safe use of product, support, coordinate, and listen to opinions or responding to inquiries related to our products and services.
    (e) Marketing and communication : for informing information Public relations, communication and promotion of our products or services. To send an invitation letter to join our activities through our communication channels and/or through Hino truck dealers, our service providers, partners including websites, e-mail, telephone, fax, postal, SMS, MMS or social media, etc.
    (f) Information Technology Management : to carry out information technology work, manage communication system, maintain and monitor information technology security and manage the business to comply with internal requirements, policies and procedures.
    (g) Legal Compliance : to comply with our laws, regulations, rules, orders, requirements and legal obligations.
    (h) Risk : to manage risk, performance check and assess the risks.
    (i) Protecting interests : for security purposes such as photographing, video recording to exercise the rights and protect legitimate interests. For example, to detect, prevent and respond to complaints, to manage and prevent loss of property, detect and prevent wrongdoing on our location or computer systems.
    (j) Fraud detection : to prove your identity, verify compliance with other laws and regulations (e.g., comply with anti-money laundering and anti-fraud) including rules and conduct internal audits and records of asset management, databases on system fraud and other business controls.

    2) Mitsui & Co.,Ltd. (Japan)
    (b) Hino Truck Dealers : we may share and receive your personal data from the dealers and truck dealers you choose or near you to provide services to you. You can find more information at https://www.hinothailand.com.
    (c) Our Service Providers: We may share your personal information with third party service providers or suppliers to provide services on our behalf or to help provide products and services as below
    1) We provide repair, paint and body services.
    2) Logistics and Transportation service providers.
    3) Emergency service provider.
    4) A company that provides market research and survey services.
    5) Company providing marketing services, advertising materials, design, creativity and communication.
    6) Telecommunication and Communication service providers.
    7) Storage and cloud service providers.
    (d) Our partner companies: both domestically and internationally, such as the business of manufacturing and distributing truck spare parts (Supplier), car rental business, insurance business, financial institution business, retail business, telecommunication business etc. where we may jointly offer or offer a product or service to you.
    (e) Third parties as required by law : in some cases, we may be required to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with laws or regulations, including compliance with law enforcement agencies, courts, government officials, or other third parties. To allow you to access our services for customer care, to make a decisions about improving the service, developing content, or for any other purpose described in this policy.
    8.2 When transferring your personal data to Mitsui affiliates abroad. We will comply with the laws applicable to your personal data and we will comply with security measures to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data. We will also ensure that overseas transferees will protect your personal data with a standard of protection comparable to that under Thai law, if necessary.
    8.3 In the event that we have to transfer your personal data abroad. If we find that the international personal data protection standards are inadequate in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Regulations set by the committee, we will ask for your consent or apply other applicable legal provisions to transfer your personal data outside of Thailand.
  9. Data retention period
    9.1 We will retain personal data for as long as is necessary to carry out the purposes set out in this policy and under the law. After your personal information is no longer necessary or no need to collect by the law, we will delete or destroy that personal data without notice to you.
    9.2 The retention period may vary depending on the purpose. In case that the personal data will be used for a short period of time, for example for a specific task marketing activities or recruiting personnel. We may delete or destroy that information after the expiration of such period.
    9.3 You have the right to have us delete, destroy or in some cases make personal data that does not personally identify you. Unless it is necessary to keep your personal information in accordance with the law.
  10. Minor Privacy Policy
    Our products, services and websites do not intend to collect personal information from minors
    who under the age of 20, quasi-incompetent persons and incompetent persons. If you are a

You have the right to request correction of your personal data if the personal data in our possession is inaccurate or incomplete.
12.3 Right to request deletion or destruction of data
You have the right to request that we delete, destroy or make your personal data non-identifiable in the following cases.
(a) Personal data that is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or used.
(b) Personal data that you have withdrawn your consent for us to collect, use and disclose that we have reviewed no longer has a legal ground for us to keep or use.
(c) Personal data that you object us to collect or use, but we cannot refuse objection requests by using legally enforceable exceptions.
(d) Personal information that you object to collect, use or disclosure of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
(e) Personal data that is unlawful collected, used and disclosed.
You have the right to request the correction or destruction of personal data you have
provided above unless legally exempted for example the collection of personal data is
necessary for the purpose of performing a contract or for the purpose of making a claim
in accordance with a law, compliance, or any other purpose required by law.
12.4 Right to restrict the use
You have the right to request that we suspend the use of your personal data by the following
cases.
(a) You have asked us to update your personal data to keep it current, complete, and we are in the process of reviewing your request.
(b) You have requested to suspend the use of personal information that we may unlawfully collect, use or disclose instead of deleting or destroying such information.
(c) When we do not need to collect your personal data for the purposes but you do need to ask us to keep it in order to set up a legal claim, complying or exercising legal claims or to defend legal claims for your benefit.
(d) You object the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data by using or making public interest claims or the use of state power or take advantage of the law and we are in the process of reviewing your request.
(e) You object the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data by using or referral the scientific research, history or statistics (if applicable) and we are in the process of reviewing your request.
12.5 Right to object
You have the right to object the collection, use or disclosure of personal data by the following cases.
(a) It is for our legitimate interest or another person.
(b) It is an action in the public interest or the use of state powers that have been granted to us.
(c) In the case of collecting, using or disclosing your personal information for marketing purposes.
(d) It is an action for scientific research purposes, history or statistics (if any)
If you exercise your right to object the collection, use or disclosure of such personal data. You have the right to request that we delete or further restrict the use of your personal data.
12.6 Right to transfer
You have the right to obtain the personal data that we have collected about you by asking us to send it to you in hardcopy or electronic form. Unless such transfer requests cannot be made within the limitations of our methods.
12.7 Right to withdraw the consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent of collection, use or disclosure. If you have previously given us your consent, unless there is a limitation of your right to withdraw your consent by law or performance of a contract. However, the withdrawal of your consent will not affect the collection, use or disclosure of personal data you have given your consent before.
12.8 Right to complain
You have the right to complain about the collection, use and disclosure of personal data. In the event that we are found to have violated or failed to comply with the law, you also can complaint through our contact channels and you may file a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Committee.
